2019 · Solo build · Client: Tamiser.sg, a local home bakery

A 24-page e-commerce website for Tamiser.sg, a Singapore home bakery specialising in layered celebration cakes. Built as a static site in Adobe Dreamweaver with a shared .dwt template driving a consistent header, navigation, and footer across every page, styled with hand-written CSS and a custom licensed webfont (Relica Rounded).

The site covers the full storefront: a product catalogue split across cakes, gourmet cakes, longevity cakes, cupcakes, macarons, tartlets, dessert shooters and mini bites; a decorations and fondant-topper range; customisation and monthly specials pages; plus FAQ and contact. Checkout runs through PayPal-hosted cart and buy-now forms, so payment is handled off-site rather than by a self-built backend. Navigation uses Spry menu bars for the multi-level Shop and Decorations dropdowns, and the site carries a background audio track.

Role and responsibilities

Built the entire website solo — every page, style, and integration:

• The shared .dwt template and the site-wide header, navigation, and footer built on it
• All 24 pages: the full product catalogue, decorations range, customisation, monthly specials, FAQ, and contact
• All CSS, layout, and typography, including hosting and wiring up the custom Relica Rounded webfont
• PayPal cart and buy-now integration for checkout
• Spry menu bar navigation for the multi-level Shop and Decorations dropdowns
• Asset preparation and the site’s background audio

Learning outcomes

• Building a multi-page site against a real client’s brand and catalogue, not an invented brief
• Template-driven markup — using a shared .dwt so 24 pages stay structurally consistent and a nav change is made once, not 24 times
• Wiring a working checkout flow via a hosted payment provider instead of building and securing one
• Hand-written CSS, custom webfont hosting, and multi-level dropdown navigation
• Organising a site’s information architecture around how customers actually shop, rather than around the folder layout
• Carrying a client project end to end alone — scope, build, and delivery

Running it

The site is fully static — open in a browser. Dreamweaver_Assets/PHP/form.php is an unfinished stub; the contact page does not submit anywhere.
